Good news for Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco users who were waiting for the HyperOS 3 rollout. After the Chinese New Year holiday, Xiaomi has finally returned with the HyperOS 3 soft update. This means that all eligible devices will receive the update very soon. Furthermore, we’ll also discuss the February security patch update device list.

Why did the update stop rolling out?

Due to the Chinese New Year (February 17th to March 3rd), all Chinese companies like Xiaomi and Realme had holidays. However, according to new reports from sites like XiaomiTime and Gizmochina, work has resumed on February 21st, and therefore, HyperOS 3 is rolling out.

HyperOS 3 Update Stable Beta Release List?

  • POCO M6 Plus 5G / Redmi 13 5G / Redmi Note 13R – OS3.0.10.0.WNUINXM (Android 16 base). This is a stable beta, with a size of ~4.8 GB.
  • POCO C75 5G / Redmi A4 (India) – OS3.0.3.0.WGVINXM. It includes UI changes like the HyperIsland widget, redesigned home visuals, and smoother card blur effects. It also includes several other unique features.

Other countries:

  • Redmi Turbo 5 (China) – OS3.0.11.0.WPJCNXM
  • POCO M7 Plus/Redmi 15 (Global) Android 15/16 builds.

This won’t be available to everyone at once; it will be rolled out gradually and will be available on everyone’s devices. Settings > About Phone > HyperOS > Check System Updates – if it shows available, download and install it.

February 2026 Security Patch Devices List

Xiaomi has rolled out the February 2026 Android security patch, with dozens of devices set to receive it. Examples:

  • Xiaomi 15 (Global: OS3.0.6.0.WOCMIXM)
  • POCO X7/Redmi Note 14 Pro (Global: OS3.0.9.0.WOOMIXM)
  • POCO X7 Pro (Turkey: OS3.0.5.0.WOJTRXM)
  • POCO F6 Pro/Redmi K70 (Global: OS3.0.7.0.WNKMIXM)

This update patch will fix vulnerabilities and make the system even more secure. If you haven’t received it, wait.

Bad Side: Fake Global ROM users are getting their phones bricked!

Be careful, the HyperOS 3 update strengthens region locking. Anyone using a fake Global ROM (meaning a Chinese phone flashing an unofficial Global ROM) is at increased risk of their phone getting bricked – getting stuck in bootloop or recovery mode. This is because Chinese hardware (model ending “C”) is incompatible with the official Global update. Xiaomi is currently being more strict about this.

Warning:

CE Logo

Before updating, check which update version is installed on your phone. If the model number ends with “G” it means the Global version is compatible (if not, forcefully install another version). Check the CE logo to confirm if the phone is authentic.

Solution for Fake ROM users: Many users have been bricked; you may need to revert via recovery or flash a new ROM – but the risk is high. Therefore, use an Official India/Global ROM and avoid gray market imported phones. Otherwise, be careful while updating.
