Well-known X platform leakster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) has revealed the price details of the Redmi Note 17 5G in an exclusive post. According to him, the price of the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be around ₹30,000. And the price of the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant will be ₹33,000. This phone was launched in China on July 14, 2026 and the base variant was priced around ₹18,000. The price in India has almost doubled, which has raised many eyebrows.
Expected Specifications
The biggest attraction of the Redmi Note 17 5G is the 8,000 mAh battery, which is the largest in the Note series so far. There will be 45 W fast charging support and reverse charging as well. The display will be a 7-inch FHD+ OLED panel, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 1800 nits. With such a large display, the phone will look more like a tablet when held in your hand.
The processor will be Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. This is an entry-level 5G chipset, so you can’t expect very good performance for heavy gaming or running very heavy apps. The camera setup will have a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP front camera. The software will be HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16.
