Vivo recently started teasing its upcoming foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold6. Within a few days of this announcement, some real life hands-on images of the X Fold6 have suddenly surfaced. Seeing these images, there is a lot of excitement among tech enthusiasts. This time, it seems that there is a lot more emphasis on design, build quality and usability compared to the previous models.
Vivo X Fold6 First Hands-On Images
The way the phone is shown in the images, the first thing that catches your eye is its extremely slim and premium build. In one image, a lady is seen holding the phone. The color is a beautiful teal-green gradient, which gets darker from the top and lighter towards the bottom. The most interesting part is the large circular camera module on the back. It looks like a big round ring, inside which there are multiple camera sensors and LED flash. And if you look closely, this camera is also seen with Zeiss branding.

The vivo logo is written very clearly, which looks very minimalist and premium. The leaked images suggest that Vivo has focused heavily on reducing thickness while maintaining a premium design.
Expected Specifications and Features
In terms of specifications, this phone is going to be quite powerful. According to the leaked information, it can have a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. If accurate, the 7000mAh battery would be unusually large for a foldable smartphone. However, this phone can be seen with a side mount fingerprint.
There is a large Oreo-shaped camera module on the back of the phone, which looks very attractive and different. Inside this module, a triple camera setup with dual LED flash is given. According to current leaks, the camera system could include a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
In terms of display, there will be a large 8.02-inch UTG 2K LTPO AMOLED screen on the inside and a smaller display on the outside with a high refresh rate. OriginOS 6 Fold will run as software, which will have new AI features, better multitasking and foldable-specific optimization.
Launch Timeline, Pricing and Competition
This phone has not been officially launched yet. It is likely to be launched in China late June (late June 2026). It may take a little longer to come to India, probably by July or August.
In terms of price, it will be in the premium segment. It is expected to be between ₹1,50,000 to ₹1,60,000, although there is no official confirmation yet. It seems that this phone will compete directly with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series.
