If you are looking to buy a phone under ₹30,000 and you are confused then this comparison can be very helpful for you. In the mid-range segment (between 25 thousand and 30 thousand rupees) of 2026, two phones almost top the list – Vivo T5 Pro and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion.

On one hand, the Vivo T5 Pro is a true Battery Monster – it can last more than two days with a huge battery of 9020mAh. On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is the Refined Experience King – it sits as the king in the all-rounder category with premium design, clean software and balanced performance.

In today’s detailed head-to-head, we will not just look at the specs. We will discuss everything from real-world tests, benchmarks, gaming stability, battery drain, in-depth analysis of the camera and long-term experience.

Design and Build Quality

The Vivo T5 Pro’s body is a bit large (6.83 inches) and weighs 213 grams. But despite having a 9020mAh battery, the weight distribution is very good, so long-time use is not a problem. It has received IP68 + IP69 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, which can withstand dust, water and hard impacts. This means that the phone is very strong and protected in terms of all build quality.

On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is very slim and light (about 193 grams). Its quad-curved display and premium fabric finish give it a truly premium feel in the hand. It is not difficult to keep it in your pocket or in your hand for a long time because it is compact. In terms of in-hand feel and ergonomics, Motorola feels slightly more refined.

Display

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Display

Edge 70 Fusion has a 6.78-inch quad-curved 1.5K 144hz Extreme AMOLED display. Motorola is very good in color tuning and natural color accuracy. But Motorola’s curved design makes the phone look premium, but it is not convenient for long-term use. You have to face problems while applying external protection to this curved screen.

Vivo T5 Pro display

Vivo T5 Pro has a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. With a 144Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits peak brightness and 2160Hz PWM dimming, it performs great in outdoor light. The multimedia experience is better due to high brightness and large display. The display of both phones gives very good results, but here vivo is a little ahead due to its super brightness and large size.

Performance and Gaming

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 series chipset has been used in both phones. In AnTuTu v11, Vivo scores around 1.11 to 1.15 million, which is slightly higher than Motorola. Vivo’s large vapor chamber cooling system results in much less throttling during long gaming sessions.

Vivo T5 Pro vs Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Performance

One thing to note here is that Motorola supports game settings up to 120 FPS, while Vivo mostly supports up to 90 FPS. However, Motorola has been found to throttle during long gaming sessions. If you are looking for a performance-based phone, Vivo might be the better option between the two.

Battery and Charging

Vivo T5 Pro is really unbeatable in terms of battery. Because the phone has a 9020mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 90W fast charging. In real tests, heavy usage (gaming + streaming + social media) can provide backup for a long time.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has a 7000mAh battery and 68W charging. It cannot provide heavy backup like Vivo, but its optimization is better than Vivo.

Camera (in-depth)

The rear setup of Vivo T5 Pro has a 50MP main sensor (Sony IMX882 with OIS) and a 2MP depth sensor. There is no ultrawide or telephoto lens. In daylight, the pictures are sharp and the skin tone is natural. For selfies, there is a 32MP camera which is very good and gives flattering pictures. Video can be recorded at 4K@30FPS but the stabilization is not as strong as Moto.

Vivo T5 Pro vs Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Camera Sample

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has 50MP main (Sony LYTIA 710 with OIS) + 13MP ultrawide (122° FOV). The ultrawide lens makes it more versatile in landscapes and group shots. Horizon Lock and stabilization are good in video, so the video is much more stable when your hands are shaking. However, when it comes to portrait shots, Vivo’s edge detection and background blur feel a bit more natural and accurate compared to Moto.

Software and long-term experience

T5 Pro runs OriginOS based on Android 16. Many features but more bloatware. Update policy – 3 years of OS upgrades + 5 years of security updates.

Edge 70 Fusion offers a near stock Android experience. Bloatware is very minimal and the user interface is very smooth. Update policy This phone will get 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates. In terms of software, if you prefer a clean UI, Motorola may be the best option. But if you prefer more variation in UI and customizable UI experience, Vivo may feel more appealing.

Final Verdict

If your priority is Awesome battery life, heavy gaming and rugged use, then Vivo T5 Pro. And if you want Premium design, clean software, camera versatility and refined daily experience, then Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is a good choice.

But keep in mind that Motorola will cost you about ₹3000 to ₹4000 less than Vivo. If your budget is absolutely fixed in this price range, then Motorola can be a better option. But if your price range can go up to 30 thousand, then you can look at Vivo.
