The much-awaited Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to launch in India on June 16 with a massive 7560mAh battery.

Redmi Turbo 5 was launched in China in late January. Since then, the phone has caught the attention of many for its amazing battery, powerful processor and premium build quality. A recent leak suggests that Redmi Turbo 5 may make its India debut on June 16. It is considered an important model in Redmi’s Turbo series.
A few days ago, the launch page of the phone went live on Amazon India and Redmi’s official site. This is going to be the first Turbo series phone in India. Earlier, the Turbo series was exclusive only for the Chinese market. And the Turbo series was usually seen in the global market as Poco rebranding.

The biggest attraction of Redmi Turbo 5 is its 7560mAh large battery. It also has 100W fast charging support. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, which is expected to deliver strong performance while maintaining good power efficiency. The combination of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage will make it faster and smoother for multitasking and gaming.
In terms of display, the phone has a 6.59-inch 1.5K resolution flat OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup includes a 50MP LYT-600 main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens and 20MP front camera. The phone uses an optical fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers and an X-axis linear motor. A 5300mm² vapor chamber has been provided as a cooling system.
The build quality of the Turbo 5 is also going to be quite premium. It uses a metal frame and is rated IP66, IP68 and IP69, which provides high protection against dust and water. The phone measures 8.18mm thick and weighs just 204 grams.
Redmi Turbo 5 Price (Expected)
The Redmi Turbo 5 was launched in China for around CNY 1,999 (approximately ₹23,000-₹25,000). It is expected to be priced between ₹29,999 to ₹35,000 at the time of launch in India. Its price may come down further after launch offers and bank discounts.
If the leaked launch timeline proves accurate, the Redmi Turbo 5 could become a strong contender in the mid-range segment. A large battery, powerful processor, premium build and high protection rating – all these together can make the phone a favorite among many. However, more detailed information will be known after the launch on June 16.
