Fans of the Google Pixel series have been eagerly awaiting the next iteration for quite some time. Now, a major update has surfaced. Based on official CAD renders published on Android Headlines, it appears that the Pixel 11 is set to introduce some subtle yet significant changes. This news may come as a particular relief to those who previously complained about the thick bezels on the Pixel 10.

Google Pixel 11 First Look (CAD Renders)

The most striking feature visible in the CAD renders is the presence of slim bezels. The bezels on the Pixel 10 were notably thick. Especially for a phone in the $700 price range – but this time around, they have been significantly trimmed down. The camera bar now sports an entirely black aesthetic, giving it a cleaner and more minimalist appearance compared to the previous model.

The frame design has largely been retained from the Pixel 10. This marks the third consecutive series in which Google has employed this consistent design language. The dimensions remain nearly identical: 152.8 x 72 x 8.5 millimeters. It is merely 0.1 millimeters thinner than the Pixel 10 – a difference so minute that it would likely be difficult to perceive when holding the device in hand. The placement of the power button also remains unchanged, maintaining a layout that distinguishes it from most other Android smartphones.

Display and Internal Specs

The display specifications remain consistent: a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED panel. While specific details regarding resolution or refresh rate have not yet been revealed, Pixel series devices typically feature a 120Hz refresh rate.

Internally, a major upgrade is on the way with the introduction of the Tensor G6 chipset. It is expected to feature a 7-core configuration and is rumored to utilize a MediaTek M90 modem, replacing the Samsung modem found in previous models. According to 9to5google.com, this is set to be a 2nm-based processor. This shift could translate into improvements in performance, energy efficiency, and advanced AI capabilities. The device is expected to feature 12GB of RAM, with base storage starting at 128GB. Many are hoping that the base variant will offer 256GB of storage – a trend already established by Samsung and Apple.

The battery capacity has been set at 5000mAh. While there is no confirmed information yet regarding charging speeds or Qi2 wireless charging support, the strong emphasis on AI features within the Pixel series suggests a high probability of excellent battery optimization.

Launch Timeline

According to some rumors, the Pixel 11 is scheduled to launch on August 11, 2026. Much like the previous two years, the official announcement and product availability are expected to occur around the same time. Its release is anticipated to follow Samsung’s foldable lineup but precede the launch of the iPhone.

As of now, very little information has surfaced regarding the camera section. The Pixel series has always been renowned for its camera capabilities and software optimization; therefore, we can expect some major surprises in this area as well. The pricing is likely to start at $799.

What It Means for Users

To be honest, these leaks suggest that Google might be playing it a bit safe this time around – though, frankly, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing for Pixel users. The design remains familiar, with the primary focus placed on slimming down the bezels and leveraging the power of the Tensor G6 chip. While some might label this a “safe play,” if the performance of the Tensor chip and the modem improvements yield positive results, the Pixel 11 could prove to be a highly attractive device for many. However, if you are currently using a Pixel 10, it is difficult to say at this stage just how worthwhile this upgrade will be for you.

These CAD renders were published by Android Headlines in collaboration with OnLeaks. Such leaks are generally considered quite reliable, though minor tweaks to the final product remain a possibility. For now, we must wait until August. In the meantime, more leaks are bound to emerge – particularly regarding the camera setup and AI features. For fans of the Pixel series, this promises to be an interesting year ahead.
