POCO is gearing up to refresh its budget lineup in India, and a new C-series smartphone could be just around the corner. Now, a big promo is going on with some new C series models. The “POCO C Series Coming” micro page has gone live on Flipkart, where models like C71, C61, C51, C31 and C3 are being showcased.
Akshay Kumar is seen on the poster and it says “POCO C SERIES ALL ROUNDER IS COMING”. It says “Over 1.1 Crore users have chosen the POCO C-series for its uncompromising performance”. It is clear that POCO is going to add another new model to this series very soon.
POCO C-Series Coming Soon
Those who follow the Poco C series well will know that Poco has brought quite a popular budget phone in the C series so far. This time, it may be seen that Poco is going to launch its next phone C81. Although it is not officially confirmed.
According to some reports, the POCO C81 will have a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The processor may be Unisoc T7250 or Dimensity entry-level chip. The battery is likely to be 6000mAh or more, with fast charging support. The camera will have a 50MP main sensor. It will also have IP rating, 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable storage and Android 16 based UI.
Some sources are saying that the POCO C81 is likely to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A7 Series. The Redmi A7 series will launch on April 21, and the POCO C81 is also likely to launch in mid-to-late April. Some of the specs of the Redmi A7 are similar to the POCO C81, especially the larger battery and HD+ display.
Compare to C71
The POCO C71 was launched earlier. Its price started at ₹8,999. The C71 had a 5200mAh battery, 120Hz display and Unisoc chipset. If the C81 is the new all-rounder in the series, then it is likely to have a bigger battery, smoother display and better overall performance.
Launch Timeline
The POCO C series has always been known as a “value for money” phone. The exact launch date has not been announced yet, but we expect to know more about Poco’s upcoming phone very soon. It is likely to launch in mid-to-late April.
