iPhone Fold

For those who are very interested in the Apple iPhone Fold (iPhone Ultra) phone, a new design leak has revealed key details about Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone. It has been heard for a long time that Apple is going to bring a thin and premium looking book-style foldable. This time, looking at the schematic drawings, it seems that the plan has become more clear.

According to the report, the phone is 9.23mm thick at its thinnest point when folded. This is much slimmer than some previous reports, which said 9.6mm or more. When unfolded, the thickness of each side is about 4.7mm. And the entire phone when opened is 167.59mm wide and 120.59mm long. That means when open, it will feel like a small tablet – wider and less tall, which is a bit different from Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series.

The Leaked Design: What the Schematics Show

The most noticeable thing in the schematics is the hinge area and camera module. When closed, the phone looks a lot like a passport – wide and compact. The camera bump is quite prominent, which can take the maximum thickness to 13mm. The Apple logo is present on the back. However, the design shows a premium two-tone finish – black and white/silver color options. This dual-tone back is expected to give the phone a more premium look.

The position of the volume buttons is also different – on the upper part of the right frame, which is similar to the iPad mini. Looking at the hinge, it seems that Apple is trying to make it much slimmer and more durable this time. The camera module is arranged horizontally, and the selfie cameras are said to be punch-hole style, according to many reports.

Expected Features According to Earlier Reports

In line with this design, some information has also emerged about other specs, but it is still in the leak stage. Apple’s first foldable phone will probably have a 7.8-inch inner display that will use crease-free technology. The outer display will be like 5.5-inch. The A20 chip may come as the processor, and the camera is likely to have dual 48-megapixel sensors. There may be a side-mounted Touch ID instead of Face ID, because it is a bit difficult to fit the TrueDepth camera in the foldable form factor.

Apple is also said to be taking a lot of time in terms of battery and hinge. It is reported that an attempt is being made to reduce weight by using a titanium-aluminum frame. There is no confirmation on the launch time yet, but according to many reports, it could come in late 2026, possibly September or October.

What This Leak Means for Apple Fans

This leak has increased the excitement of many about Apple’s foldable phone. While previous rumors suggested that the phone would be a bit thicker, now with a slim profile of 9.23mm, it seems like Apple is really trying to set a different standard. However, everything is still at the rumor level. It is better to wait until official confirmation comes.
