OnePlus has officially started rolling out the June 2026 security patch (build tag B80P02) to a massive list of eligible smartphones and tablets.
While primarily a security patch, this update introduces exciting new additions to the Weather app, displaying live Moonrise, Moonset, and Lunar Phase animations based on real-time location.
The rollout covers a wide range of devices across OxygenOS 16, 15, 14, and 13—starting from the latest OnePlus 15 and 13 series down to older models like the OnePlus 8 series and Nord CE 2.
If you use OnePlus devices and are waiting for the June update, then congratulations, you’ll be receiving it very soon. This update won’t bring any major changes, but it could be important for users. OnePlus June 2026 Update Tracker
OnePlus has officially announced that all devices listed in their list will soon receive the latest June 2026 security patch. The version number of this update is:
- Phone: B80P02(BRB1EX01)
- Tablet: B80P02(BRB3EX01)
While this is a single-page update that will help secure system security and user data, it won’t significantly impact the overall user experience. However, a small improvement has been made to the Weather app. After installing the update, the Weather app’s home page will display live Moonrise, Moonset, and Lunar Phase status based on your location, along with animations.
OnePlus has officially confirmed that this animation will be live based on your location. Furthermore, the Weather app’s UI has also received some improvements, enhancing visibility.
