Vivo has officially launched the S60 series in China, focusing on a massive 7200mAh Blue Ocean battery and a premium design.
The standard model is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and features a 144Hz 1.5K display and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
The more affordable Vitality Edition utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Full-blood chipset, omitting the telephoto lens but retaining the large battery.

Today, May 29, 2026, Vivo officially launched its new S60 series in the Chinese market. You will get to see two models in this series – Vivo S60 and Vivo S60 Vitality Edition. This time the launch is not just a phone, but also a few other Vivo products have been launched. Vivo appears to be focusing heavily on battery life, camera capabilities and premium design this generation.
Vivo S60 Specifications
The standard model of the Vivo S60 series looks a lot like a premium flagship. It has a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display, which supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The display has very thin bezels and good color reproduction. The body of the phone is made of a combination of a metal frame and a glass back, which contributes to a more premium-looking design. For this reason, the weight (207g) may feel a little heavy, but the thickness is only 7.79mm.
For performance, it uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. You will find up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage options. The phone has a 7200mAh battery, which also has 90W fast charging support. IP68 + IP69 rating, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and other premium features can also be seen.
In the camera department, Vivo has emphasized a lot like every time. It has a 50MP main sensor along with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (3x optical zoom) and an ultrawide lens. There is a 50MP selfie camera on the front. Vivo is also highlighting features such as 4K live video recording and OIS + EIS stabilization.
Vivo S60 Vitality Edition Specifications
The Vitality Edition retains many of the core features of the standard S60, including the 6.59-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, 7200mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. The main differences appear to be the chipset and camera hardware. It is slightly different from the standard model – it uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset.
The telephoto lens has been omitted from the camera setup here, so you have to rely more on the main and ultrawide sensors. However, the design and color options (such as — Early Summer Green, Midsummer Night, Star Sea) have been kept very attractive. It is a little lighter and more affordable than the standard model.

This series was first launched in China. Vivo’s S-series phones are often rebranded as V-series devices in international markets. Based on previous launches, the S60 lineup could eventually form the basis of the upcoming Vivo V80 series, although Vivo has not confirmed any rebranding plans yet.
