OnePlus is once again bringing a new gaming phone to China. This time the phone is called OnePlus Ace 6 Supreme Edition “Ace Awakening”, also known as OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. OnePlus has officially posted a teaser on Weibo. The caption reads – “Awaken, it’s time to hunt!”. The back of the phone is visible in the image, where purple RGB lights are glowing along with 2 cameras. It looks very futuristic and gaming-focused.
The company has not yet announced a launch date, but looking at the teaser, it seems that it may be launched in China within this month (April 2026). The OnePlus’ Ace series is usually China-exclusive, so this one is also expected to come only in China.
Chances of entering the global market
The regular models of the Ace series come to the global market a few days or months after their launch in China, but with a different name. For example, the Ace 6 was launched globally as OnePlus 15R. But Supreme Edition or Ultra versions rarely come to the global market. The previous Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 6 Supreme Edition were limited to China. So the chances of Ace 6 Supreme Edition coming to the global market or India are very low. If it does, it may come with a name change (probably OnePlus Number series or Nord) and some spec cuts.
Possible specifications
According to the leak, this phone will be quite powerful in terms of gaming and performance. It may have MediaTek Dimensity 9500 as the processor. It will have a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED LTPS display with a high-rate option of 165Hz refresh rate. The battery will be 8500mAh with 100W fast charging support. The design is likely to have RGB lighting and a gaming trigger button. The rear camera module is large and looks premium.
In addition, gaming accessories (grip + operation buttons) can also be seen launching together.
OnePlus Ace 6 Supreme Edition “Ace Awakening” is usually launched targeting gamers. If launched in China, it can create quite a good competition in the gaming segment there. However, the chances of it coming global or India are still very low. After the official launch, the information will be more clear and the global/India launch can be known.
