Motorola appears to be preparing to launch a new premium smartphone in India. Its teaser has gone live on Flipkart, where the phone’s camera module is clearly visible and the tagline “Seize the Night” is written in large letters. This tagline suggests that Motorola has paid a little more attention to the camera this time. Especially, it has put a little more attention on low-light photography.
This teaser shows the rear camera of the phone – a large square-shaped camera island, three lenses and a flash. No name has been mentioned directly, but all leaks and reports say that it is Motorola Edge 70 Pro. It is very likely to come as a Flipkart Exclusive.
What the Teaser Suggests
The words “Seize the Night” very clearly hint at night photography. Motorola has been seen to do a good job with the camera in the previous Edge series, but this time the brand may be looking to bring better low-light performance. The teaser shows the premium finish – tailored-fabric, satin-luxe and marble-style finish. This means that the company wants to say that this time they will come in three color options (blue, green, white), but each one will have a different texture.
According to the leak, what has come out about this phone so far, the Edge 70 Pro may have a 6500mAh battery + 90W fast charging. The display will be curved and the triple rear camera setup will be there. Some reports also mention the Dimensity 8400 processor and 1.5K pOLED display (144Hz). Not only this, a few days ago this phone was also spotted on the HDR10+ certification website, which means it will have HDR10+ support.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Launch Date in India
The exact launch date has not been announced yet, but Flipkart says “Coming Soon”. Most reports say that it may be launched 22 April 2026 or early May. The Edge 70 Fusion has already been launched, so it is the next phone in the Edge 70 Pro series.
Motorola has a good partnership with Flipkart in India, so there is a high chance that this phone will be a Flipkart Exclusive. Looking at the “Seize the Night” campaign, it seems that the camera performance will be the main highlight of this phone.
