Today, May 28, 2026, Xiaomi officially launched two of its new T-series phones globally. This year’s lineup includes Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. Both phones come with Leica-tuned cameras, large batteries, and powerful processors. Like previous T-series lineups, Xiaomi is aiming right at the ‘flagship killer’ segment here, offering Leica optics and massive batteries without crossing the ultra-premium price barrier. Xiaomi had already teased the India launch of the Xiaomi 17T ahead of the global launch event.
Xiaomi 17T Specifications

The 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel sports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, along with standard Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certifications. The Xiaomi 17T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. It is built on a 4nm process. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB / 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage options.
The most interesting part of the Xiaomi 17T is its Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup. It has three powerful lenses – a 50MP main sensor (Light Fusion 800 sensor) that captures good light due to the large sensor size, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom support, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens that is suitable for landscapes and group photos. For selfies, you will find a 32MP camera sensor on the front.
The phone also has a 6500mAh battery with 67W wired charging support. The Xiaomi 17T will run on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
Xiaomi 17T Pro Specifications

If you want to take things up a notch, the 17T Pro justifies its ‘Pro’ moniker with noticeable bumps in screen size, processing power, and charging speeds. The phone features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display. It has 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate support. Options like Dolby Vision and HDR10+ are also provided, which make colors and contrast more accurate.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is made on a 3nm process. It is much more powerful than the Dimensity 8500 Ultra in the standard model of the series. It will be available with 12GB RAM / up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage options. It is designed to handle heavy multitasking and gaming more efficiently.
Xiaomi has continued its Leica partnership on the Pro model as well. It has a 50MP main sensor (Light Fusion 950), a 50MP 5x optical zoom telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
The phone has a large 7000mAh battery, along with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging options. The software here is also based on Android 16, HyperOS 3. It has new AI features and an improved user interface. It also has stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor and modern connectivity options.
