Xiaomi Buds 6 has become available in the global market. A few months after the buds were first launched in China, these earbuds have been unveiled globally on the same day (28 May 2026) along with the Xiaomi 17T series. It is an important addition to Xiaomi’s mid-premium true wireless earbuds lineup. The semi-in-ear design, Harman tuning, Spatial Audio support and long battery life – it can be an attractive option for those who want both comfort and sound quality.
These buds have been in the news since their launch in China. Now with the global launch, their presence in the international market has become stronger. Xiaomi has not only emphasized on features this time, but also paid special attention to sound signature and comfort.
Design and Comfort
Xiaomi Buds 6 is made in a semi-in-ear (half-in-ear) design. That is, it does not penetrate deeply into the ear, but rather sits comfortably on the outer part of the ear. The biggest advantage of this design is that it does not cause any discomfort or pressure even after prolonged use. Xiaomi has used lightweight materials and ergonomic shapes, so that the buds can be used while running, moving around the gym or in the office.
Xiaomi Buds 6 Specs & Features

In terms of sound, the Buds 6 is quite powerful. It has been given professional tuning by Harman. The balance of bass, mids and treble is quite good due to the use of triple magnet drivers and 24K gold plated diaphragms. High-resolution audio can be heard due to Snapdragon Sound support and aptX Lossless codec. The Spatial Audio feature has also been added, which provides a theater-like experience while watching videos or movies.
Buds 6 has adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC). It can automatically adjust itself according to the environment. There is also a transparency mode, so that the surrounding sounds can be heard if necessary. It also performs well for calling – the voice is clear due to multiple microphones and AI noise reduction.
A total of 35 hours of backup will be available with the case. The buds alone deliver about 6 hours of playback on a single charge. Fast charging support is also included, although Xiaomi has not shared detailed charging time figures for all markets.
It has Bluetooth 5.4 support, which provides stable and low latency connection. There is a Dual Device Connection feature, meaning it can be connected to two devices at the same time. Apart from that, there is also the facility of Find My Device, touch control, voice assistant support and customizing EQ through Xiaomi’s audio app.
Pricing
Xiaomi Buds 6 launched in China for CNY 699 (≈ ₹8,500). It was recently launched in the global market and is priced at €119.99 (approximately ₹11,000 – ₹11,500). Xiaomi has not yet revealed the launch date for India, but it is expected that these earbuds will be available in India in the future. If it does come to India, the price may be a little higher than in China.
Xiaomi is clearly trying to shake up the mid-premium TWS market by bringing flagship-level Harman tuning to a half-in-ear design. It is a bold move that perfectly caters to comfort-first users. Let’s see how quickly Xiaomi decides to drop these in the Indian market.
