The upcoming Vivo S60 (V2571A) has appeared on Geekbench, scoring 1960 in Single-Core and 5194 in Multi-Core tests.
Leaks indicate that Vivo is retaining the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset from the previous generation, shifting focus to battery and camera improvements.
The device is expected to pack a massive 7200mAh battery and is highly likely to launch globally as the Vivo V80 series.

The Vivo S60 series is set to be officially launched in China on May 29. Just days before launch, a new Geekbench listing appears to confirm the chipset powering the standard Vivo S60 (model number V2571A). This listing has revealed some important information, which is especially interesting for S50 series users.
In the Geekbench 6.7.1 test, the Vivo V2571A model scored 1960 in Single-Core and 5194 in Multi-Core. This score and cores match the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635), which was seen in the S50 last year.
Usually, companies upgrade the processor in the new series. But Vivo has kept the old chipset in the standard S60 model this time. As a result, a big jump in performance cannot be expected. However, there is a chance of software optimization and other hardware upgrades, which may result in minor improvements in performance on the new phone compared to the previous one.
Vivo is using the same SoC in the S60 (V2571A) as they did in the S50 last year. It will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip (SM8635) – 1 core @ 3.01 GHz + 4 cores @ 2.80 GHz + 3 cores @ 2.02 GHz – paired with the Adreno 735 GPU, Android 16, and up to 16GB RAM.… pic.twitter.com/GGbSiouXoy

Other possible specifications
According to the leak, the S60 series will have Android 16 out of the box. In addition, several reports are talking about 7200 mAh battery, which will be a significant upgrade compared to the previous generation. We will see a 1.5K resolution AMOLED panel as the display. However, the camera specifications are still unclear.
According to some reports, the S60 Pro version may come with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
Global launch
Although it will be launched in China on May 29, it is not yet clear when it will come to India or the global market. Vivo usually brings a new S series to India a few months after the China launch. Vivo’s S series phones are often rebranded for global markets, so the S60 lineup could eventually arrive as the Vivo V80 series. The bigger question now is whether Vivo is focusing on battery and camera upgrades instead of raw performance this generation.
